The meeting was opened at 12:15 pm with the Serenity Prayer, Service Worker’s Prayer, the Twelve Traditions of NA, the Twelve Concepts, and the Statement of Purpose

A roll call of GSR’s and Trusted Servants was taken.

Newcomers to ASC and Clean time since the last ASC were recognized.

Location and Date of next ASC were confirmed with Hosting Group: Off the Walnut, March 6th at 1pm

Voting procedures were read.

I want to thank each of you for being here today. In the spirit of anonymity and in order to get everything accomplished in a timely manner, please raise your hand to be recognized before speaking. Please direct all questions and comments to the Facilitator. I will call on you to the best of my ability. This will cut down on time and confusion. We are following WSC Rules of Order, our policy packet, the 12 Traditions of NA and the 12 Concepts of NA. Please turn in your reports and motions to the Secretary, if you do not, they will not be added to the minutes. Please turn in your 7th Tradition to the Treasurer. Just a reminder, all subcommittee reports require a motion to accept. Lastly, let's remember to be respectful to one another.

New meeting schedule for regional 2022: March 27, May 22, July 24, Sept 25, Nov 27. GSR, RCM, trusted service training date June 26, 2022. CRC 34 was a huge success, sales were $15,676.22. Account has total of $48,269.31. A final count will be at next CRSC. CRC 35 has a new chair: Diana M. 773.401.1917. Registration fee is $25. HIPR: There are 15 areas in our region and only 5 were present. Need more areas involved to make it a success. HIPR meeting Sunday, March 13 from 2-4pm. Zoom ID 834-4335-8884. CAR/CAT: must be purchased or printed. CAR/Cat workshop zoom Feb 18-20th. Multiservice zonal forum will be in Detroit 2023, contact Charles G. 872.985.1919, szarkel@gmail.com. Treasurer: ending balance $28,502.14, Bank statement shows balance of $32,227. A reconciliation is being done and will be available next time the Region will meet.

Still need more people interested in H&I. H&I on Wednesday and the NA meeting have been postponed at Rosecrance due to COVID. Hopefully we will begin meeting again soon. Next subcommittee meeting on Friday February 20, 2022 at 1pm at The Group.


Public Relations Chair: Traci M.

Took directories to Crusader on W. State and Broadway, WCJ, Remedies, Mercy Mat Program. Another addict offered to print directories for this month, so no reimbursement is needed this month. Tried to get directories to Rockford Rescue Mission but nobody came to door. Reached out to RPS via email and have not received a response yet.

I have trained them on the common tasks and will continue assisting after they be someone ale replaces

We will continue to work on website tweaks such like fixing broken links and uploading past ASC m

A link was added for the Spiritual Principle A Day (Approval Draft) on the literature progn

The button on the Area Service page was updated to the 2022 CAR

We will be updating the website with flyers and the updated meeting schedule from our area today

Convention Chair: Johnny L.

Convention committee met on Friday 2/4 at 7pm with 18 in attendance. We opened with "the we version of the serenity prayer.


Our opening checkbook balance $8,882.91 after passing the basket, and making our payment to the Hotel, our ending balance is $8,367.27

Our nest Event will be on Feb. 19 at Emmanuel Lutheran Church- Chili cook off and Uno card Tournament. Trophies will be awarded, plus all chili entries will t to select one item from past convention (shirt or coffee mug) 75 entry fee, and 5$ for chill and all the sides plus other snacks and drinks will be for sale. We are holding another raffle again-two night stay and full registration (5225 value) $10 per ticket. Must be present to win. Also will be hosting a special pick a topic meeting in etween the cook off and Card tournament. Doors open at 5. All chili entries must be there at 5:30.

Registration flyers will be completed with the next 7-10 days and as soon as they are finished we will be malling them out to groups, areas, regions, treatment centers. You can still register on line-link is provided on rockriverna.org and please call Riverview inn &suites to receive the special rate of $99 and reserve your room. The rate will return to normal pricing in April or when rooms are filled. Don't delay!

Programming is looking for chair people, workshop speakers, marathon chairs and currently accepting CD's for main speakers, if you are willing to be of service or have a CD to submit for consideration please get with me or Valina-program chair.

All other subcommittees are finalizing their committees.

Our next scheduled Convention meeting well be held at The Group at 7pm on March 4th. Everyone is welcome to attend. As well as all the subcommittee meetings-fliers are on the table.
